Shelton, WA
The property (where the venue is) is a family affair. The Feist's have been coming to this place since childhood, in various forms or other- for a while it was camping, or in an RV, always making the long drive up there from Southern California. Shelton, WA is a small town, where we often joke (but also it's true) that the biggest thing in the town is the super walmart and the Dairy Queen. Over the years, it's grown out as a town and has some great local breweries, restaurants, charming parks, and still has the family favorite- Dairy Queen.
Olympia, WA
The venue is uniquely close to being equidistant from Shelton, WA to Olympia, WA, the state capital! Olympia has so many fun places to eat, drink, try coffees, farmer markets, etc. End of August has the CHANCE of seeing some salmon making their way home, but it's a little early still- either way, you'll have no shortage of fun food trucks, breweries, distilleries, or stunning hikes to fill your time with.
