Don't we need more info?

ABSOLUTELY YES. We will keep updating this website as we finalize more details, and will continue to share things here! The number one thing we want people to keep in mind early on is that this is a rustic wedding venue site. It will be entirely outdoors, on the shores of Puget Sound surrounded by forests, so the ground will be predominately grass or gravel. Choose shoes that you're comfortable in, or bring sneakers to change into, whatever works for you! We will be watching the weather and doing our best to keep everyone comfortable, will have fire pits, etc available- but bring any layers you might want and leave your black tie attire at home. Dress nice and all that, but be comfortable!

What will the parking situation be?

Answer

We will be providing a shuttle from the two closest hotels, based on where people end up booking- Shelton Inn and Little Creek Casino. For the event, parking is very very limited at the venue, so we are asking that guests park at the shuttle that will have a schedule announced for day of timing, and ride the 15 min in to the venue. Shuttle service will be on demand during dinner service, but otherwise will be running all night to allow people to leave when they wish and get a ride either back to their car or to their hotel for the evening!

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

As long as you give us a heads up, then yes! BUT, please note that the venue is not child proofed. It is taking place on the shores of Puget sound, with a fast moving tide on one side, and deep forest and cliffs on the other- we don’t want any accidents to happen with kids playing, so bring them at your best judgement! We’ll have a room set up for naps or early bedtimes on the ground level of the house/venue.

Why don’t I see a way to rsvp for my plus one?

Answer

The way Zola had us input names, it split couples up into individual RSVPs! Search for yourself and your partner’s name individually, and be sure to answer any questions. If you still aren’t seeing your name, send us a message! There’s a chance it has a spelling mistake, extra space, etc that’s making it hard to find.

Question

For the registry, should we bring gifts to the wedding or ship them?

Answer

Since we will be traveling back to Chicago, shipping is the best option! We have a plan in place for some gifts to be brought back, but space is limited.
