CARM Tours and Transfers
Our wedding planners recommended CARM Tours and Transfers to help make your travel from the airport to the island safe and easy. CARM will pick you up from Cancun International Airport, then drive you to the ferry dock at Puerto Juarez. Their service is all inclusive so they will cover all travel, including round-trip ferry tickets. You can click the VIEW button below to access the CARM page for our wedding! Alternatively, you can hire a taxi at the airport and buy your own ferry ticket if you are familiar with traveling in Cancun. However, the easiest option is going through CARM.

Ultramar Ferry

Ultramar Ferry is the fastest way to get to Isla Mujeres from Cancun. The ride is around 20 minutes, and a round trip fare is around $20/adult. The ride from Cancun airport to Punta Juárez ferry dock is around 20-30 minutes, and the taxi fare ranges from 300-400 pesos ($15-$20).

We will be staying here and we would love to have you stay on the same property with us. One of the reasons is that they don't allow non-guests onsite (as most of the hotels by the beach on Isla Mujeres). We did not book a block as there is not any cost saving for our guests. You can book rooms directly fromt the official website, or any other hotel booking sites. They also have "All-inclusive" option if you would like food and drink to be taken care of for your stay (excluding the wedding day food/drink, of course). Since there is no block, the hotel simply cannot guarentee availability for our dates. We advise that you book your rooms sooner than later. Please do book the "refundable" option, as there is still a possibility that we postpone the wedding again due to COVID-19.

This property is stunning and every room has a view to the ocean! It is only a short walk away from our hotel Privilege Aluxes. We were told that all units are privately owned. What does that mean to you? 1) Rooms might be decorated differently. 2) In additional to the official booking site and other hotel booking sites, you can also find them on "VRBO" or "Airbnb". The crown-jewels of this property are the penthouse units with private terrances (some of them even have a hot tub on the roof). Same as Privilege Aluxes, Ixchel also doesn't allow non-guests onsite.

Nautibeach condos is also a beach front property in Playa Norte (a few minutes walk from our hotel). Like Ixchel Beach Hotel, Nautibeach's units are also privately owned. This stunning property is on its own "island" off Playa Norte, connected by a cute little bridge. The smooth white sand and shallow turquoise water will melt your heart! Fun fact: we almost chose this property as our wedding venue. However, this is an All-Inclusive Hotel, there is no room-only option. Like all the other hotels, Mia Reef doesn't allow non-guests onsite. It is 10 minutes walk from our hotel.
