When should I RSVP by?

Are you registered? If so, where?

Answer

We are not registered for gifts for our wedding. We appreciate your thoughts of gifting us anything, and your presence will be the only gift we ask for. If you insist, we do have a link for you to contribute for our home down-payment fund.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 5:00 pm, please arrive at Zama Beach Club by 4:30 pm. The private beach is gorgeous and drinks are being served. You will not be bored.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Of course! Please reach out to us by 8/31/2021 so we can make necessary arrangements for you.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, there will be taxis arranged by our wedding planners to and from the hotel. This is optional and the cost is not covered. The ride takes about 10 minutes from Playa Norte to Zama Beach Club. Taxis will be ready for you by 4:00 pm to ensure you are on time for the ceremony.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Yes, in fact too many! Please check out the "Travel" page on our website for more information or reach out to us directly. We do not have hotel blocks and we encourage you to book early while more options are still available. Because Covid is still relevant, we also encourage you to book hotels with flexible cancelation policy just in case.

Are there any other events that I should know about?

We are hosting a Welcome Happy Hour on 12/11/2021 with a two hour open bar (beer and margaritas) from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Come join us for drinks and laughs with beautiful sunset!

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

December on Isla Mujeres is perfect beach weather, between 70 - 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Low chance of rain in the forecast (but keep your fingers crossed for us).

Is there a dress code for the wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

Beach Semi-Formal. It will be humid on the island and might be uncomfortable with multiple layers. However, if you are feeling fancy tuxes and gowns are welcome, as are suits and cocktail dresses. We understand this is a beach environment but please no t-shirts, jeans, shorts, or sandals for the wedding ceremony and/or reception.

Both will be outdoors.

What should I bring with me?

Answer

Bring anything that you would normally bring for a beach vacation. Check with your hotel to see if they can provide towels which can help save packing space. Some specifics for Isla Mujeres: - Please consider purchasing eco-friendly sunscreen that is good for the environment and will not interfere with the island's ecosystem. You can buy this before your trip or in Mexico. - Bug spray is a great idea. Also please consider eco-friendly spray for the same reasons as mentioned above. - Travelers are advised to avoid drinking tap water. Medicine to treat stomach illness from tap water consumption is available at pharmacies in Mexico in case of emergency. We recommend researching this and purchasing some medicine before it is an issue. - Bring cash in USD before leaving state side. You can exchange USD for Pesos in Mexico where exchange rates are more favorable.
