The ceremony will be held on the lawn in front of the library’s Redwoods, but take some time to check out the store for the hour after the ceremony. Browse books by the literary greats who were inspired by Big Sur, plus they have works by local authors and artists.
Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park
We highly recommend the Overlook Trail for a beautiful and moderate hike with a stunning view! Make sure you walk the Nature Trail to get up close with some Redwood giants.
Pfeiffer Beach
This can be difficult to get to, you have to take a narrow windy road to the parking lot and walk in to the beach. Parking is $10 for the day and they close at dusk. It will not disappoint, look for the famous purple sand and admire the Big Sur sunset!

The best place to stop for a cocktail or bite to eat with a view!
Andrew Molera State Park
Hike their trails along the famous bluffs of Big Sur.

You have to go here and see McWay Falls! The trail is an easy walk to the overlook of the falls, easily one of the most famous and iconic spots in Big Sur.
