Pre-Wedding Excursion

You're invited to the pre-wedding weekend festivities! Join us Monday, 9/16/19 to Thursday, 9/19/19 in San Francisco/Napa Valley before we head down to Big Sur together. Totally optional, just a fun way for us all to spend more time together. Please RSVP if you plan to attend or want to stay updated on these plans, and we will reach out to plan the lodging and group activities. If you want to join us for any portion of this but would rather do your own thing, that would be great, too! You can be as involved in group activities as you'd like, just let us know for booking tours/reservations.

Campfire Welcome

6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

You made it to Big Sur! Let's start the weekend off right with a campfire, dinner and drinks beneath the Redwoods of Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park. Big Sur Lodge will cater a simple meal served buffet-style, and make sure you save room for s'mores! We will have some beer and wine, but encourage you to BYOB as well. The campsite is not walking distance from the Lodge cabins, so we will either shuttle you to the site or direct you to the closest parking lot.

Ceremony

4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Daytime Semi-Formal

There is no parking at the Henry Miller Memorial Library, a shuttle will make trips from Big Sur Lodge to the ceremony site beginning at 3:30 PM. Immediately following the ceremony, join us for a champagne toast on the deck and explore the library while the wedding party finishes photos. A shuttle will bring you to Big Sur Bakery for the cocktail hour and reception beginning at 5:15 PM.

Goodbye Brunch

8:30 am - 11:30 am

Join us for one last goodbye before we all go our separate ways! Big Sur Lodge is hosting an event for the wedding groups occupying the cabins. Meet us in the beautiful dining hall for a brunch buffet that includes coffee and mimosas, only $38 per person. They will need to know a head count, so please be sure to RSVP for this event.

After the Wedding Celebration

4:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Casual

Stop by or stay the whole time! Food will be served buffet style from 4:30-6:30pm. There will be live music, dancing, wine and beer, and a fire pit. Dress for the weather, if it’s not too cold we’ll be outdoors most of the time.
