Along the Streetcar Line
See the heart of KC from Union Station and Crown Center, to Downtown and the Power and Light District, to the River Market. There are plenty of restaurants, museums, bars, landmarks, and other attractions all along the free streetcar line!
Get some Famous KC BBQ
You can't visit Kansas City and not eat our famous BBQ! We just truly do it better than anyone else. Ask any local and everyone has their own favorite place. Honestly, you can't go wrong. Some of the most famous and some of our favorites are Gates, Jack Stack, Joe's KC, and LC's. Highly recommend trying the KC specialty of burnt ends, you won't regret it!

Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium
As big animal lovers we always love to visit the zoo or aquarium in places we visit. Erin grew up attending zoo camps here in the summer and with lots of updates and the addition of the aquarium the KC Zoo is a great place to visit!
World War I Museum
The only museum dedicated strictly to World War I. Check out the view of the downtown skyline from under the Liberty Memorial, or venture all the way to the top of the monument!
Negro Leagues Baseball Museum
A great look into the Negro Leagues in the historic 18th and Vine district. The American Jazz Museum is in the same location and the famous BBQ restaurant Arthur Bryant's is down the street.
Boulevard Brewing Company
Take a tour of the KC favorite Boulevard Brewery, check out the Rec Deck, or visit the beer hall to sample some local flavors. There are also multiple other breweries in town: Tom's Town Distillery, BKS Artisan Ales, KC Bier Company, Casual Animal Brewing Co, Torn Label Brewing Company, and many more.
Bar K Dog Bar
Want a fun spot to grab a drink, watch some pups play, and even get some food? Bar K is it! We spend a lot of time here with Cheeto and it's a great place to hang out and get a puppy fix. Entry is free for humans and it's a great way to spend an afternoon!
Chicken and Pickle
Play some pickleball, get some food, enjoy some drinks, and hang out with other outdoor patio games at the location just north of downtown KC.
