Lauren and Nina have been best friends for 20 years! They enjoyed dressing up as “twins” in grade school, taking vacations with each other’s families, and playing sports together. They have truly developed a sisterly-bond. Lauren and Nina have had some hilariously fun times together, including becoming roommates for 2 years in college and attending countless Ohio State Football games! Can you say Jell-O-shots? Although Lauren now lives in Clearwater, Florida, she and Nina have stayed extremely close and they enjoy snap chatting pictures of each other’s current weather conditions: Lauren relaxing on sunny beaches, while Nina is buried in snow! Be sure to find this blonde bombshell on the dance floor - she’s the life of the party!! And she may sneak you an extra drink or two ;-)
Jessica (Skillman) Gardiner

Jessica and Nina sat next to each other in kindergarten and immediately became besties. From goofing off in class, to quoting movie lines together in the outfield during softball games, these two have always made each other laugh and life so much more fun. Their commitment to each other has never waned, even when they went to different colleges. Jessica has visited Nina in Colorado many times and they even went to Moab, Utah. Countless memories were made sightseeing, ATV-ing, horseback riding, and hiking. Despite her fear of heights, Jessica has even allowed Nina to take her to the peaks of many mountains in the Rockies - and luckily, she has survived! Be sure to find this red-headed firecracker at the wedding! She’ll be breakin’ it down on the dance floor for sure.
Tessa Skillington

Another long-term pair, Nina and Tessa have known each other since grade school when they played on the same soccer team - the Wizards! Tessa and Nina were roommates their freshman year at Ohio State - one of the best years of their lives. They were roommates again their senior year because they were not only great friends, but they enjoyed studying together and pushing each other academically. Don't be fooled, though, these two worked hard and played hard and had a ball on football Saturdays! Even though Tessa is a Penn State fan by trade, Nina made sure Tessa wore scarlet and gray as much as she could! Tessa is a fantastic human being with the biggest heart. You'll easily notice Tessa, as she has a beautiful baby bump and is expecting a bouncing baby boy just 2 months after the wedding.
Mary Knab

Their love for the ski industry and all things outdoors is what brought Mary and Nina together back in 2011. They met at Aspen Ski and Board, where they both worked, and were destined to be best friends. Although Mary was admittedly afraid of Nina at first (since she is about 4 years older), Nina finally asked Mary to go skiing at the local ski hill, Mad River Mountain. The rest is history! Nina and Mary both have only brothers, so they developed a “big/little sister” bond. Mary has come to Colorado many times to explore the mountains and she and Nina have made countless memories. Their mutual love for music has also taken them to some fun shows together, including some at Red Rocks! She is a fun, adventurous gal who will be living it UP at the wedding! :-) Be sure to run into her!

Elsa is the sister of the groom and is such a lovely, artistic soul! Elsa and Nina lived together for 6 months and have developed a sisterly bond over the years that Erik and Nina have dated. She has welcomed Nina into the family and loved her right from the start. She is an artist and photographer in New York City and is extremely talented! Nina loves supporting Elsa’s creative endeavors and feels so lucky to have her in her life. They have shared many great memories together during family outings and even boppin’ around NYC! Elsa is unique, unpredictable…and most of all, FUN. This is definitely the girl to party with on Nina and Erik’s big day!
Kyla Jett Cutler
Flower Girl
This 7-year old mountain girl has been part of Nina’s life since she first moved to Colorado. Her dad, Eric Cutler, was Nina’s first boss, and was there to witness the blossoming romance between Nina and Erik. After years of skiing, biking, camping and spending holidays with Eric, his wife, Julia, and Kyla, Erik and Nina have dubbed them their “Colorado Family.” Nina has been babysitting Kyla since she was 6 months old, and they have a very special bond. Nina even helped teach Kyla how to snowboard when she was just 3 years old! She is sure to be the cutest guest at the wedding!
Nick Zalenski
Ceremony Musician
Nick is the brother of the bride and will be the ceremony musician. We hope you like acoustic guitar! Not only can this guy play the guitar, but he is also a talented multi-instrumentalist. As Nina’s younger brother, he has had a lot of patience putting up with her and her crazy friends! Nina and Nick are very close and have made lots of memories together - traveling, screaming on roller coasters, and going to tons of concerts and shows. Nick and Erik are thankful they will now have “the brother they never had.” They’ll be sure to keep jamming together (since Erik plays the drums too), listening to music, and hitting the slopes. Nick may not be the most talkative in the bunch, but he sure does know how to SING :-) Find this guy at the wedding for some entertainment and good hangs.
Sean Terrill
Best Man
Sean and Erik have been friends since preschool. Both grew up in Manchester (Massachusetts) and were in school together up until the time they both went to college. They have been through too many experiences too mention. From playing army in the woods, to jamming (Sean plays guitar and Erik plays the drums), to being together when Erik broke his jaw mountain biking, the list goes on. Sean is a man of the ocean and will most likely be on the water somewhere.
Sean Nally

Another childhood friend, not to be confused with the other Sean! Erik and the two Sean’s have been together since preschool. Basketball is Sean's main sport and the two were on teams together throughout the years. Sean is the "playmaker.” This guy knows how to get everyone together and plan a party. He is always down for some fun and the "yes" man of the crew. Whether it is getting up at 4 a.m. for a "day trip" to the slopes (4 hours one way) or just getting everyone out for a drink, Sean is determined to see to it that everyone has a good time.
Ryan Brugger
Groomsman
A late-comer, Ryan transferred to Erik's high school their senior year. They immediately hit it off and have been friends ever since. Ryan is the last of the three Boston boys. Ryan is an avid snowboarder and he and Erik have ridden together on the east coast and in Colorado. One of Erik's first experiences riding mountain bikes down a ski mountain (by taking a lift up) was with Ryan. While Ryan keeps the gang grounded and rational, you’ll surely see him partying it up at the wedding.
Chris McAvey
Groomsman
Chris and Erik met at Erik's first job at Keystone Sports, the ski shop in Keystone Village where Nina and Erik met. Chris, Nina, and Erik were all friends before Nina and Erik even started dating. A mutual friend of both the bride and groom, it is hard to say who he likes better. As friends in Colorado, they would ride bikes at Keystone Bike Park and shred the ski slopes together. Chris is the most positive human being, and always looks at the glass half full. Even though Chris moved from Colorado, to Montana, and then back to where he grew up in New York, they have stayed great friends.
Josh Ornstein
Groomsman
Erik and Josh met in college in Vermont. They both lived in Killington and worked for Killington Ski Resort. They had a lot of great times together there, and when Erik was considering moving to Colorado, Josh had a room open up in his apartment and they became roommates. These two frequently ride bikes, camp, and ski the backcountry together. Josh also participates in periodic dinner nights at Nina and Erik’s house. While he may be soft spoken, he RIPS on the snowboard and bike! You can't miss this guy, standing at 6' 5".
