Frisco Bay Marina
Frisco Bay Marina sits on the eastern end of Frisco’s charming Main Street and brings lake life to this quintessential mountain town with boat and paddle sport rentals, a sandy beach and waterside dining on the Dillon Reservoir. Lake Dillon Marina
Erik worked at this marina for several summers and it's beautiful! You can rent pontoon and sail boats, there are boat tours (including one called "Women and Wine on the Water"), and there are Stand Up Paddle boards (SUP) and kayak rentals available too.
Wander Vail Village
There’s something so cozy and enticing about ski villages. Vail is America’s biggest ski resort and boasts an impressive village filled with cute shops and tempting restaurants.
Vail Nature Center
For a more mellow activity, you can’t go wrong with a hike on one of Vail’s gorgeous trails. Start at the Vail Nature Center, a farmhouse located between a sweet mountain meadow and the lovely Gore Creek. There you can pick up trail maps, learn about local vegetation and wildlife, and get advice from staff on where to venture. You can also sign up for guided hikes, stargazing events, and youth nature programs.

Hike or bike over to the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens for some beautiful scents and scenes. The world’s highest botanical garden bursts with flowers in summer. If traveling with kids, the playful Children’s Garden is a must-do.

There are MANY beautiful golf courses near Vail and Keystone. The link under "view" goes to popular pubic (and private) courses and offers discount coupons. Nina, Erik and Scott have played The River Course at Keystone and Erik's good friend, Josh, works there. This course gets a 4.8 out of 5 stars on Golf Advisor.
