All wedding weekend activities will take place in Poulsbo, WA, a beautiful town with a reputation as Washington's "Little Norway". We highly recommend taking the car ferry from downtown Seattle to Bainbridge Island for the full Pacific Northwest experience! However, you can also drive approx. 1.5 hours from Seattle to Poulsbo, if preferred.

For our out of town guests, we recommend flying into the Seattle/Tacoma International Airport. As a hub for Alaska Airlines and Delta Airlines its easy to get here from any city!

We recommend our out of town guests rent a car from the SeaTac Rental Car Center as there are few rideshare options willing to drive from the airport to Poulsbo and you may want to do some additional exploring of the beautiful area!

Travel Note

Ferry Information

There is an option to take your vehicle on the ferry from Seattle to Bainbridge Island and then drive the additional 15-20 minutes to Poulsbo. We love the ferry and highly recommend considering this option if you want an authentic Pacific Northwest experience! There are numerous ferries between Seattle and Bainbridge Island, all of which operate on a first come, first serve basis. During busy sailing times, you may have to wait until the next ferry so we recommend arriving early. You can also travel on Washington Ferries by foot. There is typically ample space for foot passengers so if you're spending extra time in the area you could consider taking the ferry into Seattle for a day of exploration! Please note, while there are published timetables, the ferries are not quite as punctual as other forms of transportation, so it's best to be patient and flexible!
