Check out the neighborhood that we call home! Our street is full of cute shops to browse and be sure to stop by Cornelly for delicious pasta and pizza.
The best view of the Seattle skyline, hands down. Be sure to walk down the street to Parsons Gardens for a great view of the Olympics & Elliott Bay as well!
Our favorite park in Seattle - on a clear day, you get a great view of the Olympic mountains! Highly recommend a stroll down to the rocky beach for the full experience.
Pair this with a trip up the Space Needle for a classic Seattle day!
Seattle's iconic market - keep an eye out for flying fish!
Explore Elliott Bay by boat and learn a bit about Seattle's history!
A great place for kids and adults alike! We went here on Emma's 32nd birthday and it was a blast, proving that you're never too old to enjoy sea life.
A tried and true for Josh and his buddies. Go on Wednesday for a deal on the wing of the week!
If the weather is warm enough, consider renting a boat, kayak, or paddle board and cruising around Lake Union. Watch out for sea planes!
A cool thing to check out if you're a fan of boat locks or salmon ladders! You might even catch a glimpse of some seals hoping to grab an easy lunch.
A great little downtown with cute shops and restaurants. Perfect for an easy day on this side of the water. Our personal favorite restaurants are Cafe Hitchcock, Bruciato, and Proper Fish.
Quaint little park along the waterside. Great for an easy stroll and calm water views.
The small town of Poulsbo offers cute restaurants and shops, a perfect way to spend a day!
In Washington, there are so many amazing things to do if you have a bit more time! - We love all of the national parks but Olympic National Park is definitely our favorite. Be sure to check out Lake Crescent and Hurricane Ridge. - Between the Olympic and Cascade mountain ranges, there's a plethora of wonderful hiking in the area. We recommend checking out WTA.org to find the right hike for you. - For those interested in exploring one of Washington's many small islands, our personal favorites are Orcas Island and San Juan Island (further north so likely a longer time commitment) as well as Vashon Island (just south of Seattle). - If you're looking for an international adventure, Vancouver is just a short drive away! Or take the high speed Clipper ferry to Victoria, BC to check out the Butchart Gardens and have high tea at the Empress hotel. - World Cup games begin in Seattle in mid-June so check out a game (or conversely, get out of the city to avoid the crowds)!
