The dress code is formal, but comfortable. Most of the event will be on grass, so ladies may be more comfortable in flats or wedges. It should be hot, so don’t wear a thick jacket. Spraying oneself with deet is always a good idea - Italian mosquitos like British people ;-) A request: we welcome all children to all parts of the celebration, but during the ceremony we’d ask one parent to sit at the back with them and move away should their little ones start to make noise.
