Things To Do

There is so much to see and do in and around Vail! Fall is a beautiful time in the mountains. There is plenty of hiking and biking to go around but check out these other gems!

Oktoberfest Vail

Perfect timing! Oktoberfest will likely be in Vail Village and Lionshead Village during our wedding weekend. Advertised as "Bavarian fun all weekend long" this is a do not miss event! Please note that due to crowds, parking may be at a premium and may have associated fees. Lionshead Village, September 5 - 7, 2025 (the weekend before our wedding) Vail Village, September 12 - 14, 2025 (the weekend of our wedding)

Vail Brewing Company - Vail Village

141 East Meadow Drive, Vail, CO 81657

Stop by Vail Brewing (2 locations - Vail Village and Eagle Vail). This is where Robby and I went after we got engaged! They have a great selection of beer and a quaint atmosphere.

Two Arrows Coffee | Bar

225 Wall Street, Vail, CO 81657

Robby and I got cocktails here after we got engaged, before our dinner at Sweet Basil! This is a great little coffee shop by day and cocktail bar by night. Cozy and chic.

il Mago

56 Edwards Village Boulevard, Edwards, CO 81632

One of our new favorite restaurants since moving to Vail! 12/10 pizza and garlic knots. Everything here was amazing. They also have a really good happy hour deal so go check it out!

Sweet Basil

193 Gore Creek Drive, Vail, CO 81657

One of the best meals you'll ever eat! Robby and I came here after we got engaged. My favorite dessert was a mushroom entirely shaped and made from chocolate and cake.

Minturn Whisky Co. - The Wee Dram

161 Main Street, Minturn, CO 81645

Located in the adorable mining town of Minturn is one of, if not the smallest, whiskey bar in Colorado! The Wee Dram has a great selection of spirits for those of you looking for a unique experience.

Bad Kitty Lounge

227 Bridge Street, Vail, CO 81657

Tucked away on Bridge Street, this bar is casual, cool and a must visit. Let the bartender know what types of drink you like and they'll whip up something sensational. This bar is open later for those of you who are night owls.

The George Restaurant & Pub

292 East Meadow Drive, Vail, CO 81657

As soon as you walk down the stairs into The George, you'll be transported back to college. This bar is open late, has cheep beer and gives nostalgic vibes. This bar is also open late for those of you looking to carry on the welcome drinks or after party vibes.

The Rabbit Hole at Chasing Rabbits

141 East Meadow Drive, Vail, CO 81657

Chasing Rabbits is a unique venue featuring a restaurant, arcade and nightclub. This is where I had my fellowship dinner.

Gondola One

Vail, CO 81657

Take a ride up the mountain and enjoy the view! This is the gondola Robby and I rode up on and he popped the question at the top.

Vail Farmers' Market

East Meadow Drive, Vail, CO 81657

Every weekend there is one Farmer's Market to rule them all. It happens on Sundays. Check out local vendors, get coffee and a snack while taking in the local atmosphere! It runs 9:30am - 3pm but get there early to avoid the crowd. Pro Tip - The Dessert Lab has the BEST cinnamon roll ever, but they sell out fast!

Riverwalk At Edwards

280 Main Street, Edwards, CO 81632

Just a 15 min drive from Vail is the adorable town of Edwards. The Riverwalk has shops, restaurants, and pretty mountain views!

Berry Picker Trailhead

486 Forest Road, Vail, CO 81657

For those of you looking to get some fresh air, Berry Picker is nature's stair master. This 7 mile round trip hike up Vail's ski mountain has 2200ft of elevation gain, maxing out over 10,000ft. The views at the top are beautiful (and are where we got engaged)! Make your way through Aspens and winding trails on this 3-4hr endeavor.
