Elise and Robert’s story began with sunshine, ocean views, and a little help from a mutual friend. While on a trip to Puerto Rico, they were introduced by Megan—one of Elise’s bridesmaids—who also happens to work with Robert. At the time, it seemed like a simple introduction between two people traveling with overlapping circles. But Robert clearly wasn’t ready to let that be the end of the story. On the flight back to Arizona, he sent Elise a message on Instagram to keep the conversation going. Elise responded—and the very next week they went on their first date.
