Yes. Please bring your mask with you, as we cannot separate guests during the wedding service. We ask that you please wear your mask in the chapel during the ceremony. We will be doing our best to maintain social distancing during the reception, and per an executive order from the governor, at this time, the dance floor will be closed to guests. We currently working with our wedding planner to provide alternative activities for our guests that can allow them to maintain social distancing while still having a great time. PLEASE NOTE: Face shields are not a substitute for a mask. While face shields are allowed, they must be worn over a mask.
If you or your guest are feeling ill, we ask that you use your best judgment and err on the side of staying home. We understand that these are wild times, and your presence means the world to us, but we do not want to risk the health and safety of any of our 180+ guests. Please understand that Elise's 92-year old grandmother will be in attendance as well as numerous children who are not old enough to wear a mask, so please, do the right thing.
Again, we are relying heavily on the guidance of Michigan's Office of the Governor as well as healthcare professionals. At this time, hand sanitizer will be provided at each table and at the entrances and exits of the Chapel and reception. Additionally, food and drink will be served to guests at their tables and no queues will be allowed at the bar.
