Question
When should I RSVP?
Answer
Please try to RSVP as soon as you can. We need to know if you can join us by April 1, 2022.
Question
What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Answer
Please arrive at 3:40 p.m. in the parking lot. From there, you will find directions to the ceremony space. You are welcome to take a seat wherever you like, as long as it does not have a 'reserved' sign on it. Our goal is to have everyone seated by 3:50 p.m.

What is an unplugged ceremony?
Answer
We invite and request our guests to be fully present during our ceremony, and let our hired photographer document our marriage. Please turn off all cameras and cell phones and enjoy this moment with us. Please feel free to take photos at cocktail hour and the reception, after the ceremony has concluded.

What is the dress code?
Answer
The preferred dress code is 'dressy casual' (no jeans, please!). Please note the wedding colour theme (including the bridesmaid dresses) is taupe. Important to note: the reception barn is not air-conditioned. The barn doors remain open for the entire ceremony, so there will be ample air-flow.

Is it an indoor or outdoor ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony is outdoors and the reception is indoors in a well-ventilated barn (barn doors stay open). We are hoping for a sunny wedding day, but they say rain is good luck! As such, there will be a standby tent on-site to ensure everyone stays dry during the ceremony, in the event of inclement weather.

Can I bring my children to the wedding?

While we love our family and friends of all ages, we ask that only the guest(s) on the invitation (and their plus one aged 10 and older, if applicable) attend.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel for the wedding?
Answer
Yes! We have arranged for a shuttle to go from Brookstreet Hotel to Evermore Weddings and Events, with a stop at the Grand Hotel in Carleton Place along the way. Just hop on at Brookstreet or the Grand Hotel! Departure times are available in the Travel tab. Pickup Brookstreet Hotel: 2:35 p.m. - 2:45 p.m. The Grand Hotel: 3:15 p.m. - 3:25 p.m. Dropoff The shuttle will leave Evermore at 10:30 p.m. and at 1:00 a.m.

Is there private transportation available?

Please arrange a safe ride home and leave your car overnight if needed. A limited number of local taxis are available. Book ahead and explore these options: County Cab Inc. Is there parking available?
Answer
Yes, you may park onsite at Evermore and leave your car overnight if you wish. Please pick up your vehicle the next day before 10:00 a.m.

What beverages are available? Can I bring my own?
Answer
Wine, beer, liquor, and non-alcoholic beverages will all be available to you. Please note that no outside alcohol will be permitted on the premises. Don't worry! We have you covered -- our wedding includes an open bar.
