Things To Do

Orlando is PACKED with things to do, and there is something for everyone, from big theme parks to nice areas where you walk around and find a good bite of food. We have learned that most theme parks are back open now with COVID safety precautions in place. Below are just a few suggestions, but we encourage you to Google what's around the area for yourselves!

Walt Disney World

Bay Lake, Bay Lake, Florida
, +1 407-939-5277

The classic choice for spending time in Orlando is to visit Disney World! it's actually very close to the wedding venue, and tickets cost about $110 per day.

Universal Studios Florida

6000 Universal Boulevard, Orlando, Florida 32819
, +1 407-363-8000

Just as good as Disney World is Universal Studios, which has the added benefit of having the Harry Potter World theme park as part of the package. Tickets cost about $120 per day.

Fun Spot America

5700 Fun Spot Way, Orlando, Florida 32819
, +1 407-363-3867

if you're interested in a smaller, more affordable theme park, Fun Spot is a great option! With multiple go-kart tracks and an arcade, it offers a lot of opportunities for fun. There are two locations, one in Orlando and one in Kissimmee, with the Orlando location being a little larger with a few additional rides, so just be sure that you know which one you choose. Tickets cost about $46 per day.

Gatorland

14501 South Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando, Florida 32837
, +1 407-855-5496

If you're up for an adventurous option, you can check out the Alligator Capital of the World! With over 2,000 alligators, you're sure to get your fill on the history and habits of gators. If you're lucky, you may even be able to get a picture with one. Tickets cost about $30 per person.

Kennedy Space Center

Space Commerce Way, Merritt Island, FL 32953

If space is your thing, then you'll be in the right place! The "space coast" in Cape Canaveral is home to the Kennedy Space Center, which is run by NASA and features a wide variety of space-themed attractions--many of which are educational. This center is located about an hour and 15 minutes from the venue, so it is good for a day trip on Friday or Sunday. Tickets cost about $60 per person.

Universal CityWalk Orlando

6000 Universal Boulevard, Orlando, FL 32819
, +1 407 363-8000

CityWalk is also a great place to walk around and explore if you want to find some great restaurants and enjoy the Universal vibes without committing to the whole park.

Disney Springs Walking Bridge

1604 Buena Vista Drive, Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830

Similar to the Universal CityWalk, Disney Springs is a free-to-enter area that has shops, restaurants, a movie theater, bowling alley, complimentary water taxi, and outdoor entertainers.
