Things To Do

Aaron and Destinee absolutely adore the outdoors and support the National Park System. Here, are some of their favorite ideas for fun things to do in the Southwest Montana region!

Yellowstone National Park

Gardiner, MT
, (307) 344-7381

Take U.S. 89 South from Livingston for about 45 minutes. There you'll find the Montana Yellowstone Park Entrance, right after a little town called Gardiner. Yellowstone is great for hiking and wildlife watching! Last time Aaron and I were there we saw Mule Deer, White Tail Deer, and Elk. Bison are also commonly seen there. . . And watch out for bear! Yellowstone is a great outdoor recreation area with plenty to do.

Museum of the Rockies

600 West Kagy Boulevard, Bozeman, MT 59717
, (406) 994-2251

If you like Dinosaurs, this is the museum for you!

Chico Hot Springs Resort & Day Spa

163 Chico Road, Pray, MT 59065
, (406) 333-4933

This is right down the road from the wedding venue! We always love taking a dip in mineral springs. Chico sells day passes to the hot springs and spa resort for a day of rest before the wedding festivities. Always heard great things about this place!

Hyalite Canyon

MT 59718

Hyalite is a GREAT outdoor recreational area outside of Bozeman. Aaron and I have taken trails there to see Grotto Falls. Many people fishing, hike, and rock climb here that live in the Bozeman area. Highly recommend!

Summit All Terrain Rentals

30 Village Center Lane, Bozeman, MT 59718
, (406) 581-5086

This is one of the BEST places to rent outdoor powersport equipment. The people who work here are very knowledgeable and super friendly. Aaron and I were in and out the door with our snowmobiles in less than five minutes. The offer tours and regular Polaris and ATV rentals. Shout out to Miguel.

Bozeman Hot Springs

81123 Gallatin Rd, Bozeman, MT 59718
, (406) 586-6492

This place is very nice, affordable, and in town. There are multiple pools of varying (and regulated) temperatures both indoors and outdoors. The mineral smell is only strong in a couple of the pools. There is also a dry and wet sauna on site. This place is a little bit more commercial than most hot springs Aaron and I have traveled to, but worth a visit all the same.

For all the days along the way
