Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us! So you can get to know them a bit better, we've asked them to answer the following questions: 1. What is a fact most people don't know or wouldn't assume? 2. What three IMPRACTICAL items would you bring with you to a deserted island? 3. What are you looking forward to most at the wedding?

Nicolette Edwards

Bride

One thing about me that SHOULD be known is that ketchup is my mortal enemy (don't worry, nothing will be served at the wedding that will need it - that may or may not have been on purpose). Three impractical things that I would take with me if I was stuck on a deserted island would be: 1) an espresso machine, 2) my record player & records, and 3) my VHS copy of Shrek. What am I looking most forward to about my wedding? Getting to be with my best friend and celebrating our love with all of our family and friends.

Dawson Foster

Groom

Fun fact: I once ate 3 raw onions out on the line for like $300. Three impractical things I would take with me to a deserted island: a dirt bike, a single cold beer, and a french press full of coffee (all the essential makings for a rad day). I am most looking forward to spending the wedding day with the most amazing woman and all of my friends!

Kassandra Kay

Officiant

I am OBSESSED with Formula 1 racing. If I was deserted on an island I would bring my Kindle so I have unlimited access to books (somehow), an espresso machine, and a yoga mat. As for the wedding, I'm most looking forward to giving Niki the best day possible, and spending time with her and Dawson <3

Tom Edwards

Father of the Bride

I ~dabble~ in oil painting. If I were put on a deserted island, the obvious things to bring would be golf clubs, butter for seafood, and a drum break spring wrench. As for the wedding, I am most looking forward to seeing my lovely daughter marry a wonderful person.

Christine Edwards

Mother of the Bride

I have an identical mirror twin and am a Whovian! I would bring slippers, chopsticks and deodorant if I went to a deserted island. I am looking forward to the fact that you two (i.e., bride and groom) finally making it legit!

Mandy Foster

Mother of the Groom

Number one thing to know about me - I might be a grandma but I don't drive like one! :) I would bring a down coat, an electric curling iron, and a stack of CD's (mostly rock) if I went to a deserted island. At the wedding I'm looking forward to seeing all of Dawson and Niki's family and friends sharing in the joy, love, and laughter of their special day! <3

Sarina Edwards

Co-Maid of Honor

I have a fear of chickens (why would I trust something that used to be a dinosaur). If I were put on a deserted island, I would bring a book of crossword puzzles as well as a record player with my favorite vinyl. I would also bring a giant bottle of rum so I can pretend I'm Jack Sparrow. Regarding the wedding, what I am most excited for is to see my beautiful sister surrounded by all her friends and family on the special day, and I hope she feels the love and happiness we all wish for her.

Josie Wenrick

Co-Maid of Honor

I can say the alphabet backwards (feel free to test me on this). If I were put on a deserted island I would bring an espresso machine, a hot tub (obviously), and something else impractical........ (I definitely did not overthink this question and make an argument for how everything could be made practical if necessary). Regarding the wedding, I am looking most forward to the cheese board. And seeing the love/people I love... But mostly cheese.

McKenzie Alford

Bridesmaid

When I was little I got my head stuck in a soccer goal and never played the sweet, sweet game again. I would bring Mio, a tempurpedic mattress, and an etch-a-sketch to a deserted island. Regarding the wedding, I look forward to hiding from the horror of the bride and groom's dance moves.

Becca Guthrie

Bridesmaid

I have more in common with the retired community than people my age. For example, my favorite hobby is quilting. I would bring my cellphone, Taco Bell, and my sewing machine with me to a deserted island. What am I looking most forward to at the wedding other than seeing Niki and celebrating the perfect couple? The dancing! I know this wedding will have the best playlist!

Jacob Harris

Best Man

Surprise! I have a concaved sternum. I would bring a toothpick, a heater, and sock to a deserted island (I obviously took the impractical part of this question to an odd and extreme level). What I am looking forward to most at the wedding is OBVIOUSLY getting to dance up on Dawson.

Bradley Foster

Groomsman

I once ate a whole stack of pancakes with molasses, even though syrup was an option (I live life on the edge). If I were on a deserted island, I would bring a chicken, a fusee, and a pair of sunglasses. I am looking forward to seeing Dawson and Niki on their special day!

Tommy Edwards

Groomsman

Surprisingly, I am afraid of heights. If I were stuck on a deserted island, three incredibly practical things I would bring are: 1) a potato ricer, 2) my James Bond Blu-ray collection, and my Lego star wars collection. I am most looking forward to spending time in Texas with family.

Cody Newman

Groomsman

A cool fact is that I fly helicopters. If I were stuck on a deserted island, I would bring a single M&M (for sharing), a flight helmet, and a camera. I look forward to seeing Dawson and Niki on their wedding day!

Heni Barnes

Flower Gal

According to the state of Kansas, I am part of a cult. If I was put on a deserted island I would bring a squishmallow, my Oculus Quest 2, and my (very large and heavy) rock collection. For the wedding, I am most looking forward to seeing the LOVE.

Annie Kilborn

Flower Gal

I play the ukulele. If I went to a deserted island I would bring my boyfriend, a chef, and an entire professional chef's kitchen stocked full of food and drinks (imagine seeing this randomly on a deserted beach). Regarding the wedding, I'm looking forward to the food!!

Babou

Mr. Big Boy Sir

The goodest boy, and although he will not be attending the wedding, he has a lot of opinions that he needs to share. Something people may not know about him is that he has impeccable taste, and prosciutto is his delicacy of choice. If he was stranded on a desert island, he would bring his favorite blanket, fifty palettes of kitty pate, and a journal to write down his bird observations. His favorite thing about the wedding will be that he will have the house to himself and some peace and quiet.
