Bar Harbor Inn

As part of our wedding the inn has blocked off 20 rooms for our guests. These rooms will be held for our guests until February 28th, 2022. Please note that Bar Harbor Inn requires a 3 night minimum stay over the holiday weekend. 2 queen beds in the Oceanfront Lodge with an ocean view and private balcony: $339/ night. 1 king bed in the Oceanfront Lodge with an ocean view and private balcony: $339/ night. 2 queens beds in the Newport building with a grounds view and balcony: $229/ night. 1 king bed in the Newport building with a grounds view and a small sitting area: $229/ night. There are other room types and views available to book that are not associated with our room block. Please book what is best for you! 1 nights stay deposit is required at booking. You will need to call the hotel to book your room(s) if the online price is different than the above pricing. Please email DAVID.WOLFF10@GMAIL.COM after securing your room with the room information.

It might be 1 hour and 15 minutes from Bar Harbor, but this airport is the most economical and popular choice. Many major airlines operate from BGR, some with direct flights. Four rental car companies operate from the terminal.

Bar Harbor Airport is only 22 minutes from Bar Harbor, but flights into and out of this airport tend to be on smaller aircraft and more expensive. Hertz and Enterprise rental car companies operate out of the terminal.

Other Information

Maine weather in late May can get a bit chilly. Expect highs in the low 70s and lows in the high 40s. The temperatures on Cadillac Mountain Summit can be considerably colder than the temperatures in town. The ceremony will be held outside on the lawn weather permitting. Park Passes are required to enter Acadia National Park. In addition to a pass, reservations are required to visit some of the popular destinations. Plan ahead if you would like to visit these destinations! More Info here: https://www.nps.gov/acad/planyourvisit/index.htm The Island Explorer bus system will not be operational during our visit. A vehicle will be needed to get around Acadia National Park and the island. We have travelled to and from Maine dozens of times. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. We have recommendations on just about everything!
