2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees.

Located adjacent to the hotel pool. Drinks are available from the pool bar and some light food will be available. This event is totally optional. There are amazing things to see do and eat on Mount Desert Island. Don't feel bad for spending time exploring the island or doing anything else for that matter!

The Wedding

11:30 am - 4:00 pm

Garden Attire: Wear sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, and fun hats and fascinators.

Our ceremony will be held on the Bayview Lawn starting at 11:30am. Short and sweet. You may begin taking your seats at 11:15am. The ceremony will be followed by a cocktail hour in the Reading Room from 12-1pm with hors d'oeuvres and drinks. The reception will be in the Reading Room starting at 1pm and concluding no later than 4pm sharp. The brunch buffet will include items like stuffed french toast, a soup bar, eggs benedict, bacon, assorted fruit, etc. We are cutting the cake at 3pm and will be all wrapped up by 4pm. Beer & Wine will be served from an open bar. The wedding cake will be lemon butter cake with fresh blueberry puree & buttercream icing. Expect a laidback reception with modern orchestral music, lots of room to move around, and a great view of Frenchman Bay.
