The 16th century castle is secluded on its own island on the River Suir, about 10 minutes from Waterford City Centre, with a short ferry ride to the island.

The ferry can transport both cars and people and runs every 15 mins, 24/7.  It will be free for use to our guests to get back and forth from the island.
