Although the party is taking place in Atlantic Beach, we hope you will stop by our sweet town of Beaufort to see the Watercraft Center, along with the other attractions of the place we both love so much.
Established in 1709, Beaufort, N.C., is a quaint coastal town located on Beaufort Inlet, a channel leading south to the Atlantic Ocean. The third oldest town in the state, it has been named the "South's Best Small Town" by Southern Living, "America's Favorite Town" by Travel + Leisure, and 20 Best Places to Live on the Coast by Coastal Magazine, just to name a few.
Originally a fishing village and port of safety dating from the late 1600s, Beaufort has been visited by patriots, privateers, merchants, and skilled craftsmen who built Bahamian and West Indian-style homes and public buildings.

The location of our ceremony (and original location of the wedding and reception) this is our spot. We fell in love with it when we first visited Beaufort together and there was no other location that we wanted to be married. The Watercraft Center is a working boatbuilding facility that comes alive with the sounds and smells of traditional North Carolina wooden boatbuilding. It truly showcases the art and skill of traditional boat builders. The view is second to none and is located just blocks from Dave and Sam's house. A trip to Beaufort is not complete without a trip here.
