Transportation and Parking - tell us more!

Answer

There is NO onsite parking at The Cottage. Parking at the Island Grille Restaurant parking lot and/or on residential streets is strictly prohibited and towing will be enforced. The Cottage is located in a residential area. To protect their neighbors, all speeding and/or reckless driving will be reported to local authorities immediately. Complimentary Shuttle Services will be provided by New Bern Tours for all attendees. In the event you miss the specified shuttle time, please call Kelsey Baker, Venue Manager at 252-515-0701. Attendees who miss out on their shuttle time will be responsible for their own transportation to and/or from the event. Please see below for details on the pick up locations and times. PRE EVENT SHUTTLE TIMES: The Bask Hotel 4:30 p.m. 5:10 p.m. The DoubleTree Hotel PRE EVENT SHUTTLE TIMES: 4:50 p.m. 5:35 p.m. The shuttles will return guests to each of the locations at the end of the evening with the last shuttle returning to Beaufort.

How do we get to the venue?

Answer

There is NO parking available at the venue. We will be providing shuttle service to and from the party via trolly. The trollies will be picking guests up at The Bask Hotel in Morehead City and The Doubletree in Atlantic Beach. Additional details and times will be updated on this website prior to the party.

Tell us about this party!

Answer

Well - since they are already married, we are taking the boring part out and now it is time for everyone to come together and celebrate the marriage of Dave and Sam. The party will take place on November 6, 2020 at The Cottage at The Crystal Coast. This incredible venue boasts front row views of the Atlantic Ocean and we are looking forward to celebrating with our closest friends.

Wait, when did you actually get married?

Answer

We were lucky enough to be married by a surprise ceremony at the NC Watercraft Center on 12.16.21. Our wedding planner, Meagan, along with secret keepers and accomplices Dave, Hollie and Manda, were able to completely surprise Sam with an ceremony in the original location of the wedding. Now that we are married and it is safe, it is time to celebrate the blissful union.

What are you doing about the Coronavirus?

Answer

The coronavirus has thrown a wrench in the entire world's plans, and it probably comes as no surprise that we have made the heartbreaking decision to postpone our wedding celebration until further notice. This was not an easy decision to come by, but the health and safety of our family and friends is top priority and we would never be able to forgive ourselves if we put you in harms way. HOWEVER, a pandemic is not going to stop the two of us from getting married and certainly not from celebrating with our closest friends and family. We are in the process of working with the Watercraft Center for a new date, so we are kindly asking you to save the date - we just aren't quite sure what date that is. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and we appreciate your understanding. We hope to be in touch soon with a new date.
