Welcome Beach Gathering

Bring your swimsuit, towel or something to sit on, some sunscreen and lots of water to ensure you don't get roasted!
Join us if you can, at our welcome gathering at the beach! Kelowna Hot Sands Beach is a public beach and there will be plenty of other beach-goers around so find a spot wherever you can. It's a sandy beach so no water shoes are required, and there are no beach chairs on site so bring a towel or something to sit on. Dave will be cooking up some hot dogs for everyone to enjoy. If that's not your jam, there are usually food trucks nearby as well. We'll also have a couple of extra beverages for anyone in need (travel mug is recommended if you want to have an alcoholic beverage as its not allowed in open containers).

Ceremony
3:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Cocktail or Garden Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, sundresses, floral prints, dressy jumpsuits, suits in lighter hues or dark jackets and slacks.
The ceremony begins at 3:00 pm and will be on an outdoor patio. Please arrive no sooner than 2:50 pm. We have reserved a shuttle bus service that will pick up guests at the Delta Grand Okanagan Hotel in downtown Kelowna. Pick up for immediate family, and wedding party + spouses, will be at 1:15 pm. Pick up for all other guests will be at 2:15. Please do not be late, as the shuttle may have to leave without you. If you have your own vehicle, free parking is available at the venue. See "Reception" for return shuttle details.

Cocktail hour will be outdoors as well.
Reception

Cocktail or Garden Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, sundresses, floral prints, dressy jumpsuits, suits in lighter hues or dark jackets and slacks.
The reception will primarily take place outside on a covered patio but will transition to be indoors later in the night to reduce noise heard outside. The return shuttle bus will be leaving the venue at midnight (when the reception ends), and will make stops along the way at every guest's hotel near Kelowna (as long as it was provided beforehand to Dave or Mia). If you prefer to return earlier, Taxis are the best option or you can try for Uber which isn't as reliable in this area.
