Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi Formal with a Western Twist "A touch of elegance with cowboy charm." For the Ladies: Cocktail dresses paired with your favorite heels, flats, or finest boots. Your best denim is also welcome. For the Gentlemen: A blazer and/or a crisp pearl snap with jeans—starched and polished for the occasion. Cowboy boots to complete it. Whatever you decide on, just pack your cowboy hats and dancing boots for the reception!

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Although we would love to offer a plus one to all guests, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget and to meet our venue restrictions. Please stick to who is listed on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding and CANNOT WAIT to celebrate with you all!

Question

How do I know if I can bring my kiddos?

Answer

Please note that children who are invited will be specifically addressed on the RSVP. We wish we could invite all children, but we simply would go over the restriction of the venue if we did so. In addition, there will be a reverent hour long ceremony in the Church, as well as a fun reception that involves an open bar and a full night of dancing. Please consider if your kiddo can handle these environments before packing them up for the weekend. We are happy to see them, but we also understand if mom and dad want a night out to themselves. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out!

Question

First time to a Catholic Wedding?

Answer

We're going to have a mixture of people who have never stepped foot in a Catholic Church and people who were Catholic since birth. So just know, you fit right in. The most important thing to note, is the Catholic Mass is a sincere and reverent ceremony. We do believe that Jesus is there with us inside the Church, so that is one of the reasons we treat it with such importance. We are so excited to share this big day with you all. PSA: Hats are not allowed to be worn inside the Church itself, so please prepare for that :)

Question

What time should I arrive to the Church?

Answer

The mass will begin promptly at 2:00 pm. I do recommend arriving 20 minutes early as it may take time to navigate the church grounds and to find a seat.

Question

What is the distance between the Church and the venue?

Answer

The ceremony will be at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church in McKinney, TX. The reception will be held in the Stonehall at The Springs in Anna, TX. The drive from the church to the venue is approximately 30 minutes. There is a Buc-ees on the way to the venue if you are in need of some refreshments!
