Quanti giorni/notti devo stare? How many days/nights should I plan to stay?

IT: Consigliamo di rimanere a Valsavarenche almeno da Venerdi sera a Domenica pomeriggio, ma se avete possibilita' di allungare la vacanza, la Valsavarenche, il Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso e la Regione Valle d'Aosta in egnerale offrono infitite attivita' e posti da scoprire per una vita intera. Quindi, rimanete il piu' a lungo che potete e godetevi la vita! EN: We suggest you stay at least from Friday night to Sunday afternoon, but if you have the option to stretch your vacation a bit longer, Valsavarenche, the National Parc of Mount Grand Paradis and the Aosta's Valley region offer virtually infinite activities and places to discover for a life time. So, stay as long as you can and enjoy life!

Vengo in aereo, devo noleggiare una macchina? I fly from overseas, do I need to rent a car?

IT: Sebbene sia possibile arrivare a Valsavarenche con i pulman di linea, ci sono pochissime corse al giorno. Un veicolo a noleggio e' consigliato. Se siete interessati a condividere il noleggio con altri ospiti, fatecelo sapere e vi metteremo in contatto con altri invitati che hanno la stessa necessita'. EN: Although it is possible to reach Valsavarenche with public transit, there are only very few busses running per day. We suggest rental cars. IF you interested in sharing a rental vehicle with other guests, let us know and we'll try to match you up with other people with the same need.

Ci sara' servizio di navetta? Will there be shuttle bus service?

IT: No, non ve n'e necessita'. Ci aspettiamo che la quasi totalita' degli invitati abbiano un veicolo a disposizione; chi non ce l'ha trovera' facilmente un passaggio. Se avete particolari necessita' di mobilita', fateci sapere e troveremo una soluzione. Tutti i villaggi interessati sono vicini tra loro (massimo una mezz'ora a piedi), ed e' possibile camminare, per chi vuole godersi un po' di tempo all'aria aperta. EN: No, there is no need. We expect the almost entirety of guests to have a car; who does not have a vehicle will easily find a ride. IF you have specific mobility needs, let us know and we'll find a solution. All villages are close to each other (within half-hour walking distance); it is possible to walk, for those who would like to enjoy some time outdoors.

Cosa devo portarmi da casa? What should I bring from home?

IT: Se soggiornate in albergo, avranno tutto. Se invece preferite stare in appartamento, avrete bisogno di portarvi lenzuola e salviette, e qualcosa per colazione se la volete fare in casa. Sarete nella natura, se pensate di andare per sentirei, portativi scarponi/scarpe comode. EN: If you are staying in a hotel, they have everything. If instead you are staying in an apartment, you'll likely need bed sheets and towels, and breakfast items. You will be in the mountains, so if you plan to explore and hike, bring boots/comfortable shoes and a backpack.

E' necessario portarsi molto contante? Is it necessary to exchange and bring many Euro cash?

Che temperature ci saranno? What temperatures should we expect?

Answer

IT: Ovviamente dipende dal tempo che in Giugno puo' ancora essere variabile. In generale, a meta' Giugno a quelle altitudini, ci si aspettano minime intorno ai 5-10 C e massime intorno ai 15-20C. Quindi portatevi sia abbigliamento leggero per il pomeriggio che qualcosa di piu' pesante per le sere e le notti. EN: It obviously depends on the weather, which can still be somewhat unstable in mid-June, but generally speaking, we expect lows in the high-30s/40s and highs in the 60s F. So, bring something light for the afternoons and something warmer for evenings and nights.

IT: Si, sara' una cerimonia informale; ci sara' spazio per i bambini di giocare e sfogarsi durante la cena. EN: Yes, it'll be an informal ceremony; there will be space for children to play and run around during dinner.

Question

Ci sono parcheggi e accesso per i disabili? Is there parking and are venues accessible?

Answer

IT: Si, ci sono comode possibilita' di parcheggio gratuito in tutti i villaggi della Valsavarenche e a Giugno il turismo estivo e' ancora limitato. Sia la cerimonia che il ricevimento si terranno in spazi accessibili ai disabili e con parcheggio vicinissimo. EN: Yes, there is ample availability of free parking in each and every village of Valsavarenche, and the summer tourism is not yet in full swing in June, so finding parking will not be an issue. Both wedding ceremony and reception will be held in accessible spaces with very close parking.
