“Dia de Muertos” Meet-up

The wedding party will provide plenty of appetizers and cocktails/beer. The restaurant offers dinner options if guests wish to purchase.

Catholic Wedding Ceremony

Semi-Formal: suits, slacks are welcome and so are cocktail dresses. Vibrant, traditional Mexican colors are encouraged (e.g. red, yellow, orange, green, blue, purple, fuchsia).
Immediately following the ceremony, we will have a "calenda" (Oaxacan parade), where we will walk from the church to the reception as a group. We recommend comfortable flat-soled shoes (Oaxaca has many uneven pathway surfaces). While the parade distance is only one block, it could last up to ~40 minutes.
Wedding Reception

The reception hall (La Capilla) is adjacent to the Hotel rooms and pool. Please RSVP with your preferred dinner entree. The calenda will guide the wedding party from the church to the reception hall (~6:15 pm arrival). Cocktail hour will occur from 6:15-7:00 pm, followed by dinner and dancing.

Join us at Quinta Real Oaxaca pool. This is an opportunity for guests to enjoy the sun or say farewell. Continental breakfast will include Mexican sweet bread, coffee, hot chocolate, etc. If guests wish to purchase, the hotel offers other breakfast options in their restaurant.
