Located at the bottom of the peninsula, the battery is bordered by the Ashley and Cooper Rivers, which meet here to form the Charleston harbor. It's an easy walk along the water admiring the large estates and ends at White Point Garden, a beautiful park shaded by large, Spanish moss covered oak trees. Check it out, we know you'll love it!
Great rooftop bar on Upper King with tons of brews on tap. They let you pour your own drinks to try as many as you want, and one of the best views of the city! It's a newer spot, but Suzanne wished it was around when she was living in Charleston!

With lots of local craftsman showcasing their creations, it's fun to walk through the 4-block long market and find something unique. You'll also be seeing one of Charleston's historic sights - it's been there since the 1790's!
