Our story begins in Lynchburg, VA, where we first met while working in the same department at Liberty University. While our interactions with each other were limited due to working from home during COVID, our friendship blossomed within a friend group that we met with for dinner and games. As we spent more time together, our friendship slowly but surely began to develop into an affection for each other. While the Lord was drawing us closer together, He also was drawing us closer to Himself. We were both spending time in prayer with God, asking for His wisdom and guidance in each of our lives so that we wouldn't put our own wants and desires ahead of what He had for us. While challenging, choosing to wait on the Lord was the best thing we could have done because it meant our relationship began in His perfect timing. As we have continued to grow in our relationship with each other, we couldn't be thankful enough for our friends and family who have provided so much love and support. As followers of Christ, we are called to reflect His love and kindness to those around us. Truly, we have been blessed by so many who have come around us, and we pray that the Lord will continue to work in and through us as we walk with Him, continuing our story "in which every chapter is better than the one before."
