This is the best airport to fly into because it'll have the most places to stay and things to do. You can also fly into LEX. Both Louisville (SDF) and Lexington (LEX) are ~45 minutes from Frankfort!

Louisville is a historically rich city, with lots of unique and/or spacious Airbnbs. You can choose to stay by the waterfront, at the Kentucky River. You can choose to stay in an old Victorian manor--we've heard that a few are haunted! You can choose to stay in an exposed brick loft. They've got it all! Frankfort and Lexington are great choices as well. In the latter two cities, there's a more small-town vibe and slower pace. We always choose Louisville because we're big foodies.

According to Google Maps, this hotel lies a modest 6 minutes driving from our ceremony and reception venue (Josephine Sculpture Park). We have blocked off 20 rooms here for your convenience. The average cost per night is approximately $120 + tax. Because Hallie gets excited, we've blocked the dates Thursday (Sep. 30) - Sunday (Oct. 3), but feel free to book the number of nights that works best for your schedule! Be sure to mention the reference "Batesmith Wedding" when reserving your rooms, so they know you're with us! *Note: the deadline for this hotel: September 15. Hampton Inn Frankfort

This hotel (almost directly across the street from the Holiday Inn) is also only 6 minutes driving from our ceremony and reception venue (Josephine Sculpture Park). We have blocked off 20 rooms, with a mix of doubles and kings, here as well for your convenience. The double rooms are $99 + tax per night. The king rooms are $109 + tax per night. Because Hallie gets excited, we've blocked the dates Thursday (Sep. 30) - Sunday (Oct. 3), but feel free to book the number of nights that works best for your schedule! Be sure to mention the reference "Batesmith Wedding" when reserving your rooms, so they know you're with us!
