Born 17 months apart, Mariah and Lara have always been close sisters and friends. In fact, when Mariah and Anthony met a second time, Mariah called Lara that night to tell her about him. Lara currently studies at the University of Toronto.
Davide Ferrara

Davide and Anthony first met in 2017, when Anthony joined a student group Davide was in. Over the next few years the two of them formed a friendship around the Faith, in which Davide was a great help to Anthony, who had started practising for the first time in 2017.
Abbey Connell
Bridesmaid
Abbey is Mariah’s younger sister by 3 years. They have also always had a close bond. Within the past 5 years Mariah and Abbey are increasingly mistaken to be the same person, so alike are they in looks. But not to worry- we are confident you will know the difference between them on September 25th. Abbey currently studies at Trent University.
Andrew Roelands
Groomsman
Andrew was and is a mutual friend of Mariah and Anthony, who met through him. Mariah met Andrew in 2017 when they were in the same philosophy course. Andrew met Anthony in 2018 on a Sunday after Mass when Andrew asked him to sign his petition. Andrew would soon organize a meeting for this petition, over which Mariah and Anthony would meet for the first time.
Bianca Currie

Bianca is Anthonys younger sister. Bianca is the only other person Mariah knows who laughs as hard at Anthonys quirks as she does. Bianca currently studies at Western University.
Isaac Connell
Groomsman
Isaac is Mariah’s younger brother. Isaac is the first sibling Mariah can remember trying to help her mother take care of, and she first earned the name of “little mother”. Isaac will be graduating from high school this year.
Cecilia Doucette

Cecilia and Mariah are first cousins, and currently roommates. Cecilia is currently finishing up the Fashion Design program at Fanshawe College.
Julian Porcher
Groomsman
Julian and Anthony met when Anthony was twelve and joined the air cadet unit Julian was in. Julian would later join the military reserves, and Anthony would again see him there.
Cindy Corrales
Bridesmaid
Mariah first met Cindy in her first year at Western, when she joined the campus pro-life group. Mariah and Cindy bonded quickly as they did pro life work together across London, and even as far as Florida. Cindy has third-wheeled Mariah and Anthony so often, Mariah felt obliged to ask her to be a bridesmaid.
Kirk Lamb
Groomsman
Kirk and Anthony met in the military reserves in 2013, when they started as candidates on the same basic training. Kirk was able to best Anthony and groomsman Matthew Parker, being named the top candidate of their basic training. Kirk and Anthony would go on to accumulate several months of living together over different military tasking in Ontario and Alberta.
Madison Thalen

Madison and Mariah first met in grade 9 at St Thomas Aquinas high school in Lindsay. They soon bonded over their shared love of Lord of the Rings. Since high school, Madison and Mariah have travelled coast to coast together. If you come to visit Mariah while she’s with her family and she’s not at home, she’s probably at Madison’s.
Matthew Parker

Matthew and Anthony met when they were twelve and joined the same air cadet unit together. They would go on to join the military reserves together when they were sixteen, completing both their basic and infantry training together in 2013.
Maryrose Doucette

Maryrose and Mariah are cousins, and have had a close friendship since childhood. From weekly mailed letters, to hanging out at the cottage, to video chats, Mariah and Maryrose have always enjoyed each other’s company. Maryrose is engaged and will be married to Ash Milton at the end of August. Funny enough, both girls got engaged only a week apart!
Mitchell Wharry

Mitchell and Anthony met when Anthony was twelve and joined the air cadet unit Mitchell was in. Mitchell would later join the military reserves, and Anthony would again see him there.
Sami Maenpaa

Sami and Mariah met in their first year of nursing at Western, and were roommates nearly all of university. Before Mariah and Anthony even had their first date, Sami predicted they would get married someday. Sami is currently an RN working in the ER in Sarnia.
Charlotte Connell

Charlotte is Mariah’s second youngest sister. Charlotte is currently in grade 6 and loves crafts, reading, and playing outside with her siblings.

Julia is Mariah’s youngest sister. Julia is in grade 4 and is always planning some big game for the family.
