On Saturday, December 10th, Schooner Wharf Bar is hosting their 31th Annual Key West Lighted Boat Parade. Music at 6:00, Parade starts at 8:00pm.

Fort Taylor predates the Civil War and is a National Historic Monument housing the largest cache of Civil War armament in the world. Beyond its historical importance, the park is the southernmost state park in the continental United States. It is a beautiful water-front state park with unbelievable sunset views.
The Ernest Hemingway House was the residence of American writer Ernest Hemingway in the 1930s. The house and its grounds are inhabited by dozens of cats. Around half are polydactyl, sporting six toes on each paw.

Discovered by Ponce de Leon in 1513, the Dry Tortugas were named after the large population of sea turtles living in the island’s surrounding waters. “Tortugas” means turtles in Spanish, and Ponce de Leon himself caught over 100 sea turtles during his time on the island.
