We recommend "Tropical Cocktail" attire. This can be colorful, fun & beachy! Examples for the ladies include cocktail dresses, maxi dresses, dressy jumpsuits. For the guys, think shirt with a collar, polo-style shirt, Hawaiian shirt, slacks, linen pants. Suits and sport coats are not required but welcomed! **The venue is entirely brick-lined so please keep that in mind for your shoe choice, skinny heels are not recommended. Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors.**
We will not be using a hotel room block. As you might have noticed, the prices for hotels in Key West are extremely variable. We wanted to give our guests the option to stay anywhere on the island that is within their budget. If staying with a group, renting a house or condo may be more cost-effective. See the 'Travel' page for a discount code for the Kimpton properties. Reach out to Crystal or Dave if you need suggestions on where to stay, we are happy to help!
We will be staying in a house off of Duval Street and getting into town on Sunday. Let us know if you plan on getting to Key West early so we can hang out!
The front gate to the Audubon House will open at 4:45PM and the ceremony will begin promptly at 5PM. Free museum tours will be available during the reception.
On average, there is a high of 77 with a low of 70 degrees in December. The ceremony and reception will be held outdoors, so please bring a light sweater if you get cold easily.
Absolutely, it's encouraged! Please just be respectful of our photographer as to not disrupt her work with rouge arms and phones. We would love for you to share all the memories with us afterwards!
Yes, and there will be an open bar to help with that requirement ;)
No shirt, no shoes, no problem! (Just kidding) Wear your best boat attire or come in a t-shirt and shorts - whatever you feel comfortable in. Bonus points if you wear an ugly Christmas sweater in celebration of the lighted boat parade that is happening later on that night.
