Spend time on the lake - rent a SUP, kayak, or boat. You can also grab a cup of coffee from The Wake Coffee Shop and enjoy time at the public beach nearby.
Grand Lake is on the western side of this world renowned public land. There are plenty of hikes for people of all activity levels, scenic drives, and lots of wildlife. Trail Ridge Road is a popular drive connecting Grand Lake and Estes Park. Please note, the national park requires a reservation to enter from 9a-2p every day.
Dive into Grand Lake history. There is even a photo upstairs of Wil's grandpa driving a wooden boat in the 1950's.
Enjoy strolling around downtown Grand Lake and stopping in the various art galleries, clothing and jewelry stores, and antique shops. With the covered boardwalk, you can enjoy town regardless the weather.
Whether you want a full on meal or just an afternoon ice cream, Miyachi's is always our go to. No trip to Grand Lake is complete for Grace and Wil without a Mountain Man burger and a cone of soft serve.
By far the best views in town. Sitting on the porch for lunch or dinner is always a treat. If you don't have time for a full meal, grab a drink at the bar and enjoy it on one of their swinging benches. This is where Wil worked his first job as a tween, bussing tables in exchange for access to the all-you-can-eat waffle bar.
One of our favorite spots in town. What better way to celebrate being in the Rockies than enjoying fish tacos and Caribbean sandwiches? The cocktails are also amazing, but be careful, they pack a punch.
A casual spot for the whole family.
