Grand Traverse Resort

Our hotel of choice will be the Grand Traverse Resort which is around 20 minutes from the venue and 15 minutes from downtown. The resort has restaurants, bars, shopping, casinos, pools, golf courses and a spa. There are limited rooms remaining but the inventory changes daily and often is not reflected online so it is best to call. The resort has a "tower" and "hotel" section. The tower is more upscale and expensive compared to the hotel. There are also condos on the resort which may be cheaper options for groups. I found some by searching for "Grand Traverse Resort" in Airbnb and Vrbo. If you choose this option, please make sure the condo you choose is a part of the resort if you want full access to the resort amenities. The hosts can be tricky with their wording in the description so it's always best to check directly with the host. There are nearby hotels as well which may be a good option for those who cannot stay at this resort but still want to utilize the shuttle service.
