Turns out getting legally married abroad is complicated so the happy couple decided to tie the knot officially ahead of time. They both wanted the opportunity to celebrate with family/friends, but also wanted to have a small ceremony. This way they get the best of both worlds! They got married at Emily's childhood home at the end of September 2024.

Yes! For the welcome event on 3/25/25: there is a bus scheduled to bring people from Kilfenora to Doolin. It will pick up at Vaughan's Pub at 5:30pm to bring people to McDermott's. As the night wraps up, the bus will again pick up from McDermott's at 9:45pm and bring people back to Vaughan's. You can take this one or both ways, whatever you prefer! For the reception on 3/26/25: we have arranged a ride for those not staying in Kilfenora! The bus will pick up at Fiddle & Bow Hotel in Doolin at 3:15pm then head to the Burren Court Apartments in Ballyvaughan which would pick up there around 3:40pm and drop both groups off at Vaughan's around 4:10pm. The bus will leave Vaughan's at 1:30am and drop off at both spots again on the way back. You can take the shuttle one way or round trip, whatever works with your agenda!
Unless specified on the RSVP, additional "plus ones" are not invited due to limited seating. Please check your RSVP, it will directly state who is invited.

Garden/cocktail attire: semi-formal dresses, sundresses, or skirts with blouses, dressy pantsuits or tailored trousers, suits are not definitely not mandatory (but acceptable if desired), otherwise dress pants, a collared shirt, and a blazer or sport coat are all fine. Emily & Conor are not picky and just want you to be comfortable!
