Autumn and Ryan met at The University of Alabama's first Track and Field meeting back in 2013. Autumn was a sophomore and Ryan was a freshman. Of course Autumn's shy person radar went off and she decided that she was going to make it her mission to be best friends with Ryan and get him to talk to her.

A little over a year later Autumn was turning 21 and invited Ryan to go to Gulf Shores with a group for her birthday. Now don't forget Autumn had set her sights on Ryan the year previously. She may have had a plan in the back of her head. When all the others went to bed Autumn and Ryan decided to go walk the beach and talk. Hours later as the sun was rising and the dolphins were jumping--Autumn knew she was already in love.

On December 10th 2020 Ryan decided to pop the question Autumn had been waiting for! Of course she said YES!
