YMCA of the Rockies

We highly recommend staying right at the YMCA. It is a spectacular property with so much to do and is situated right on the edge of Rocky Mountain National Park. Cabins The YMCA has private cabins with several different room options. These cabins open up for reservations on the first Wednesday of April, 2022 and book out very quickly (usually same day)! Check out the website for cabin details ahead of time. Online booking opens at 6 A.M. MT Booking over the phone opens at 8 A.M. MT. Lodge Rooms The YMCA also offers hotel style room lodging that can be booked starting on January 1st, 2022. We recommend the Alpen Inn, Emerald Mountain Lodge, Rams Horn Lodge or Longs Peak Lodge.

Located right in Estes Park. About a 15 minute drive to the YMCA of the Rockies (~25 minutes to the Mountainside Lodge). Very nice, clean hotel with friendly staff and continental breakfast!

Getting to the Mountainside Lodge

Once you enter the YMCA, follow Association Drive until it intersects with Mountainside Drive. Then, follow Mountainside Drive until it ends at the Mountainside Lodge. There are several short branching driveways, but the two main intersections you get to are marked with the Mountainside Lodge/Outdoor Chapel (keep left at these). If you pass a home that is private property, don't worry, you're going the right way! Please be sure not to park near the home, though. If you have it available, we recommend downloading offline maps on Google maps on your mobile phone. It will take you right there! Just type in "YMCA of the Rockies Mountainside Lodge".
