Hike to Emerald Lake
8:30 am - 12:00 pm
Hiking boots or comfy walking shoes, sports shorts and t-shirt, water
Come join us for a hike in Rocky Mountain National Park! We will head out from the Mountainside Lodge on Friday morning at 8:30am. Don't worry if you didn't RSVP! We'd love to have you join us the day of! From the Lodge, we will hike 10-15 minutes to the Glacier Basin campsite. Then, we will all take the free shuttle up to Bear Lake. The hike from Bear Lake to Emerald Lake is 1.8 miles (3.6 miles round-trip). It is an easy to moderate hike and the payoff is worth it, we promise! If you'd rather just enjoy Bear Lake, there is a short, easy loop (0.5 miles) around the Lake with plenty of great photo opportunities! We hope you can join us!

Please join us for a casual get together and some great home-cooked food Friday night to kick-off our wedding weekend!

Mountain Semi-Formal Attire: Cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or jackets and slacks. Don't forget your rain jacket or umbrella too!
The Outdoor Chapel is also known as the John Timothy Stone Mountainside Chapel
