Salem in October

Thinking of coming early to check out the October festivities in Salem? Salem is a national destination for historical enthusiasts and lovers of Halloween. It gets very, very, VERY busy there in October, so if you come early, be prepared for crowds. If crowds aren't your thing, we suggest staying outside of Salem in October to maintain your peace and quiet. Tourism calms drastically in early November, so if you are planning to come for the weekend of the wedding only, then crowds should be minimal.

Hawthorne Hotel

This is the location of our wedding ceremony and reception. We have a limited number of rooms available in a block that you can book by calling the front desk at (978) 744-4080 and providing the room block code of AC1109. Please book by October 19 to secure our negotiated rates. The Hawthorne is a small hotel, so if they are fully booked, do not fear! We have room blocks at several hotels in the area listed below.

We have a room block at Sonesta Select Boston Danvers with both single and double rooms available at a set rate. Please book by October 3 to ensure you receive our negotiated rates. This hotel is located around 20 minutes by car from our ceremony/reception space. There are plenty of rideshares (Uber/Lyft) in the area, or you speak to the front desk about securing a taxi.
