What is the best way to travel from my accommodation to the wedding venue?

Answer

If your accommodation is in Salem, walking is likely the best way to get to the venue. Remember: This part of New England is typically around 40-50°F in November, so please bring a jacket (and hat, scarf, and gloves if you tend to get cold). If your accommodation is in the surrounding area, you'll likely want to drive or take a rideshare (Lyft or Uber).

Help! The Hawthorne Hotel doesn't have any rooms available. Where can I stay?

Answer

We have a room block at an additional hotel, listed here: https://www.zola.com/wedding/cobrawedding/travel There are also many additional hotels or AirBnbs in the area. We recommend staying in the following towns: Salem, Beverly, Marblehead, Swampscott, Lynn, Peabody, and Danvers. The city of Boston is 45-75 minutes by car. You are welcome to stay in Boston, but you will want to allow for extra travel time.

What is the dress code for the wedding? Should/can I wear xyz?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding is formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. However, you should wear what you're comfortable in!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather in this area of New England in November is typically around 40-50°F. It's possible that there will be rain, but unlikely that there will be snow. However, it pays to be prepared around these parts, so you'll likely want to bring a coat, warm hat, scarf, and gloves.

Can I bring a plus one?

We want to celebrate with everyone, but due to space constraints in our venue, plus ones are by invitation only and we ask guests not to bring a plus one unless indicated on their invitation. Plus ones are indicated on the wedding invitations as "Guest". Thank you for your understanding!

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We would love to celebrate with everyone, but due to space constraints, we cannot accommodate guests younger than 16. All guests invited to the wedding will be listed on the invitation. Thank you for your understanding!
