What is the dress code for the wedding?

Our wedding is black tie optional. We will be outside for the majority of the weekend so please bring a jacket and/or dress in layers.

We kindly request that only guests listed on your invitation attend the wedding. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us!

Will transportation be provided to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

A shuttle service will be provided to and from the wedding reception. Pick-up and Drop-off will be arranged from the hotel blocks. Additional transportation details to follow.

Are there accommodation options available nearby?

Answer

What are the nearby attractions or activities for out-of-town guests?

Answer

Charlottesville offers a variety of attractions, including historic sites, wineries, breweries, hiking trails, and scenic spots. Check out our Food, Drink, and Fun page for recommendations and local insights to enhance your stay.

Will there be dietary options available for guests with specific preferences or restrictions?

Answer

Absolutely! We want all our guests to enjoy the wedding feast without worry. Please indicate any dietary restrictions or preferences when you RSVP, and our caterers will do their best to accommodate your needs.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is ample parking available at the venue. We recommend arriving a little early to due to increased traffic for homecoming weekend.

What time should guests arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

We suggest arriving at least 20 minutes before the ceremony start time to allow for parking, seating, any unforeseen delays, and a little pre-holy-matrimony champagne. The ceremony will begin promptly at the designated time.

Is there a rain plan for outdoor ceremonies or receptions?

Answer

We have a contingency plan in place in case of inclement weather. Our venue offers indoor spaces that are just as beautiful as our outdoor settings, ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience for our guests regardless of the weather.
