It is gorgeously scenic, on the water, under a ten minute drive from the reception venue, and near many trails, ferries, and things to explore. Transportation Options
You have two options to choose from for transportation to the wedding. Parking at the gardens is extremely limited, so we strongly suggest either a ride share such as lyft or uber, or parking your car at the DoubleTree Hilton and taking the provided shuttle for the remainder of transportation throughout the day. We are in the process of finalizing shuttle transportation. More details to come soon. If coming from the Oakland area in a lyft or uber, you will arrive at the entrance to the gardens. The "Berkeley Botanical Garden" sign and gate will be on your right, and parking lots and the entrance to the Mather Redwood Grove will be on your left. No need to check in at the front desk, just head to the left toward the Mather Redwood Grove - there will be a welcome sign and a greeter who will usher you into the grove.

2:00 pm Arrival Time
We encourage you to arrive closer to 2:00 pm, rather than 2:30 pm. It will take you a few minutes to get your bearings, walk down the path to the grove, and find your seat.

A shuttle will be provided for those who would like to be picked up from the reception and taken back to the hotel. After party is likely to take place at the hotel, so even if you're accommodations are elsewhere, you are welcome to take the shuttle back to the hotel to join the after party.
