If you Google the word "tisch", you'll get a bunch of ChatGPT-style articles talking about how a tisch is a Jewish "boy's night" to "go crazy with the boys" and spend "time with the boys." Which, traditionally it refers to a groom's table, so that's valid, I guess. But as there's no groom getting married to either of us - thank goodness - our tisch is opening up our home for anyone who would like to stop by to spend some casual time with us before the wedding. Light refreshments will be provided, stay as little or as long as you'd prefer. Bringing your knitting or other craft is encouraged. Get in touch with the brides for the address.
1:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Please wear whatever makes you feel celebratory and festive, and feel free to throw traditional wedding attire etiquette out the window. (Do you lament that you’ve never had a reason to wear your own wedding outfit again? Let this day be that reason!) As is our way, there will be many and bright colors everywhere and they are encouraged!
