Salt Lake City to Moab

Most guests should fly to the SLC airport and rent a car to head down. The drive is ~3.5 hours, so we recommend buddying up with other guests to maximize fun and save on costs! The Drive Salt Lake City to Spanish Fork (45 minutes) This section is city freeway with Spanish Fork being the last real city. Spanish Fork to Price (75 minutes) This section is windy and steep with smaller towns. If you didn't make a stop in Spanish Fork, do so in Price. Price to Moab (90 minutes) This section gives way to Utah's red rock deserts. The largest town onthis stretch is Green River with <1,000 people.

Other Airports

Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT) GJT is ~1.5 hours from Moab. It's much closer to Moab than SLC; however, it's a smaller airport so flight options may be more limited. Canyonlands Field Airport (CNY) CNY is less than 30 minutes outside Moab, making it the closest airport. That said, it's very tiny with limited flights and accommodations.

Hotels / Stays

We don't have a dedicated hotel block, but Moab has plenty of hotel and Airbnb accommodations. Our wedding is outside peak season, so it should be easy to secure a place, but we recommend booking early. Like the drive, buddy up to maximize fun and minimize costs. Reach out if you'd like to discuss.
