Travel Note
General Travel Moab is a 3.5-hour drive from the Salt Lake City airport. Guests should fly to this airport then rent a car to head down. We recommend buddying up with other guests to add fun to the drive and save on travel costs. Let us know if we can help get you in touch with others! The Drive Salt Lake City to Spanish Fork (45 minutes) This section is city freeway. Spanish Fork will be your last chance to get anything that you'd expect of a city. Spanish Fork to Price (75 minutes) This section will go along the Spanish Fork River through Price Canyon as city life makes way for small towns. This part of the drive has steep parts - both uphill and downhill. If you didn't make a pit stop in Spanish Fork, definitely do so in Price. Price to Moab (90 minutes) This section is where canyons slowly transition to red rock and forest life fades as you enter Utah's deserts. The largest town along this stretch is Green River with a population of <1,000 people.
Hotel
Moab has an abundance of hotel and Airbnb accommodations. Our wedding is outside peak season, so it should be easy to secure a place, but we still recommend booking early. Like the drive, consider buddying up to maximize fun and minimize costs. If we can secure a deal with a local hotel, we will post that information as it is available.
