Question

Will we be able to meet up before the ceremony?

Answer

We would love to meet up with as many people as possible before and after the ceremony! Let us know when you're arriving in Salt Lake City and/or Moab, and we'll do our best to make time for everyone in either of these locations! We may also do some of our own adventuring (see the "Moab Guide" tab), and we'd love to have people join us on these experiences!

Isn't this a desert? Is it going to be hot?

Answer

Moab’s desert climate means hot summers and cold winters, but October is ideal—sunny, dry, and cool. Expect highs of 60–70°F and lows of 45–50°F by the time the dancing subsides. Despite the cold, it is still very dry; please remember to stay hydrated!

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We elected not to do a registry, but we have already received several requests for registry information. We maintain that your presence is our present, and we recognize all will have to travel for the event. If - and only if - you feel inclined, we will set up a personal fund to which you may contribute to the cost of our future. More information will come in the registry tab soon.

Can I bring a plus one or my kid(s)?

Answer

Your invitation will indicate if a plus one is invited. We view this is an adult event, but please get in touch with us if childcare is inaccessible; we don't want to miss you.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our vision is to have the ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors, weather-permitting. We'll then head indoors for dinner and remain inside to dance for the evening.

Is there transportation to and from the ceremony?

Answer

We hope to work out a system for transportation to and from the ceremony to ensure everyone is able to enjoy themselves. We will provide information as it is available, but plan on personal transport just in case!
