It’s wedding time!

Leah and Chris arrived on Block Island Friday, July 21st. Chris' original proposal plan was soiled. Fast forward to Saturday, we had a long festive beach day. As we were packing up for the afternoon, it was (kindly) suggested that Chris propose that night. Chris placed the ring in capable hands until Sunset. The family had a great day one on Block Island and were off to Payne's Dock for sunsets, music and dancing. Operation ring transfer was made just before sunset. Leah and Chris walked down the dock to look at the incredible sunset together. As the sun was setting, Chris asked Leah to spend the rest of her life with him. She said Yes! Unbeknownst to Leah and Chris, the Lavan family had followed them down the dock and captured the moment. There were hugs for all and celebrations to follow. The rest of the night is history. We joined the rest of the family up by the dock, celebrated with champagne, laughter and a shout out from the band! It was magical!
