Best Man

Will Tiensvold will be serving as Jeff’s Best Man. Their friendship has spanned over a decade. Their friendship truly spawned from Will asking Jeff if he was going to go to their high school’s art club where they quickly developed the club’s tongue-in-cheek motto: it’s not art unless you’re bleeding. Their shared love of various bands have lead them to attend many concerts together including Animal Collective and Arcade Fire. They even recorded an album together over the span of a year and a half. Jeff can’t imagine where he would be without Will and is grateful to have such a great best friend serve this role on his wedding day.

Mark Chontos

Mark is the brother of the bride and always the life of the party. Mark can always make everyone laugh, and Cheyenne considers herself lucky to have such a good friend and brother. Cheyenne is so excited to have her little brother part of her big day.

Christian Dejongh and Jeff met at Augustana University. He is a talented musician and extrovert extraordinaire. They became friends over their shared love of jazz, Smash Bros., and conversations spanning philosophy, theology, and science. Jeff is grateful to have Christian as a friend to serve this role on his wedding day.

Jack Chontos

Jack is the brother of the bride, and he and Cheyenne share a special bond - Jack's cat, Louis, and Cheyenne's cat, Purrman Catpote, are brothers! Other than their cat-sibling bond, Jack and Cheyenne truly are friends. Cheyenne is so happy to get to spend her special day with her little brother.

Colter Benson

Colter and Jeff have been friends throughout college. After moving in across the hall, Sam, Colter, Cheyenne, and Jeff had many adventures that deepened their friendship and bonded them as chosen family. Colter and Jeff bonded over their shared love of Eastern European literature, board games, and a good beer. Jeff can’t imagine celebrating this special day without his best pal Colter.

Samantha Kleinschmit

Cheyenne and Samantha became best friends in college when they lived across the hall from one another. They bonded over their loves of books, animals, and the environment. Samantha is the only member of Cheyenne's wedding party who is not biologically related to her, but Cheyenne considers Samantha as part of her family all the same.

Deb Thormodsgard

Mother of the Groom

Deb Thormodsgard is the Mother of the Groom. She is a pillar of support and unshakable faith who fostered Jeff’s love of music and reading through the years. Jeff is blessed to have his mother as part of his wedding day.
