Bread & Circus Sandwich Kitchen
This is our favorite place to eat in Sioux Falls. We definitely suggest eating on their outdoor patio area - it is a beautiful way to experience lovely Downtown Sioux Falls. We also recommend their ice cream on a hot day!
Swamp Daddy's Cajun Kitchen
Swamp Daddy's has some of the best food and best people in Sioux Falls. Delicious Cajun restaurant. However, they do not offer many vegetarian options.
Mama's Phried & Phillys
Cheyenne's family loves this restaurant, and Cheyenne and Jeff agree that it's one of the best. If you love phillys or fried chicken, this is the place for you. Not many vegetarian options, however.
Lam's Vietnamese Restaurant
Lam's is the home of the best Vietnamese food in Sioux Falls, and it has been the site of many dates for Cheyenne and Jeff. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is extraordinary. Their banh mi's are the perfect summer lunch.
Crawford's | Bar & Grill
This restaurant in Downtown Sioux Falls is perfect for a nice meal or just for a drink. Jeff recommends their Old Fashioned ("It's the best Old Fashioned you'll ever have in your entire life"), and Cheyenne recommends the Epiphany ("Out of this world good"). This is where Cheyenne and Jeff went after they got engaged. Needless to say, it is a favorite of ours!
The Source Coffee Roastery + Taproom
This fun coffee shop and bar is a true Downtown Sioux Falls gem. Cheyenne suggests getting their London Fog, and Jeff suggests their Cafe Miel. Whatever you get, though, you'll be sure to love it.
WoodGrain Brewing Co.
There is nothing better than getting a beer here and ordering Fierro's pizza while playing a card or board game. This laid-back environment is a favorite of Cheyenne and Jeff's.
Flyboy Donuts
This local donut shop is the perfect place to get a fun breakfast or treat. Cheyenne suggests a classic glazed donut or one of their fun flavors, like cookie dough. Jeff loves their maple bacon donuts. Flyboy’s coffee is a favorite as well!
Intoxibakes
This unique bakery is South Dakota’s first “boozy bakery.” They have some fun and tasty flavors like Almond Amaretto and Chocolate Fudge Red Wine. Not interested in the idea of “adult” cupcakes or have people in your group under 21? No worries! All of the alcohol is baked out of the cupcakes, so you don’t need to worry about that. Intoxibakes also has plenty of alcohol-free cupcakes and treats.
CH Patisserie
This is one of the tastiest spots in Sioux Falls. All of the pastries are delicious at this adorable French-style bakery. We recommend getting a dessert and a small French press to split with a loved one.
Stensland Family Farms Ice Cream + Country Store
This is some of the best ice cream in Sioux Falls. This is a great place to go as a family or with kiddos!
Falls Park Visitor Information Center
This is where we had many of our first dates and where Jeff proposed. The Falls is the heart of Sioux Falls, and it is a beautiful part of our town. We highly recommend a visit while you're here!
Good Earth State Park Visitor Center
Want to know where we spend most of our weekends? The answer is Good Earth State Park! We love hiking around this beautiful state park. It is so close to Sioux Falls, and it has some truly lovely trails. If you're looking for an outdoorsy retreat, we cannot suggest this enough.
McKennan Park
This is truly one of the loveliest parks in the city. Enjoy a playground, children's pool, lovely flower gardens, and the historic McKennan Park Neighborhood. This park also often hosts events and concerts, so keep an eye out for those fun treats!
Japanese Gardens
This is a lovely park in Sioux Falls, with beautiful flowers and plants, a playground for children, and it is a great duck-watching spot. It is right next to a local swimming pool as well.
West Mall 7 Theaters
Who doesn't love a $3 movie? We love this movie theater, and it is a great way to spend a relaxing afternoon with family or friends.
Reach Literacy
Of course Cheyenne and Jeff have to share their favorite book store with you! REACH is more than just a bookstore, though. The store supports adult literacy tutoring, promoting reading for people of all ages and backgrounds. REACH also acts as a sort of “community center” in Sioux Falls, hosting a wide variety of events and groups. Support one of our favorite places in Sioux Falls by buying a book, attending an event, or making a donation!

If you're looking for a fun place to shop in Downtown Sioux Falls, look no further. Zandbroz is a Sioux Falls favorite for wacky, fun, and unique gifts and trinkets.
Game Chest
If you are looking for a place to get a unique gift or a fun place to hang out and rent a game or two, check out the Game Chest. Jeff and Cheyenne love this cool, friendly, and unique game store. We recommend checking out Settlers of Catan or Exploding Kittens!
Washington Pavilion
The Washington Pavilion is a great spot for kids and adults. Kids will love the children's museum, and adults will enjoy their art gallery. Everyone is a fan of their gorgeous Cinedome!
Old Courthouse Museum
Other than being the place of our reception, this is simply a beautiful museum. It contains several exhibits that detail the amazing history of Sioux Falls and South Dakota. It is definitely worth a stop!
Center For Western Studies
Enjoy this beautiful museum located at Augustana University - one of Cheyenne and Jeff's favorite spots! Enjoy interesting exhibits and learn about South Dakota's past.
Siouxland Libraries Downtown Library
Looking to channel your inner Cheyenne? Or just need a quiet spot in Downtown Sioux Falls? The Downtown Library is a lovely place to work and enjoy a good book or two. They have free wifi here as well.
Fernson Downtown
One of the biggest breweries in Sioux Falls, Fernson is always a unique stop. Their new downtown location also has great food and an amazing outdoor area.
